            Leaves of Light – Tree

            Italy, Turin, 2016
            H. 19 m, bronze, stainless steel

The imprint left by the hand of the artist is the starting
point for “Germination”, an ensemble of four works
commissioned by Louvre Abu Dhabi. Arising from a
mound of clay shaped by the artist, Leaves of Light is
a monumental bronze tree whose leaves, in the form
of mirrors of steel, reflect the sunlight, resonating with
the surrounding building. The upward-pointing gesture
